Darth Vader Action Figures - Darth Vader & Captain Antilles In Deadly Stranglehold

Raymus Antilles is a loyal (to the Rebels) starship captain. He has carried Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda on his ship. He's also taken R2-D2, C-3PO and Leia, on his ship, at different times. He has run aid and medical supplies across Imperial lines, destroyed Imperial ships and shipyards. He was also involved with getting the Death Star plans.

And then, during the Battle over Tatooine, he is captured and questioned by Darth Vader. When Antilles refuses to disclose any information about the Death Star plans, Vader strangles him.

It is this moment that is depicted in this striking piece.

An Impressive Sideshow Darth Vader 12 Inch Figure

Hopefully without falling straight into a puddle of hideous gushiness ...

WOW!

First, this 12 inch Darth Vader is not actually 12 inches tall. It's over 14 inches tall, and it makes a big statement. It looks imposing and it's weighty. It feels really substantial.

The figure is clothed in a jumpsuit, an authentic-looking robe and armour, and the distinctive, full outer cape - complete with chin clasp. The clothing is very well sewn and finished off.

It has a nice chunky belt with a clasp to attach the lightsaber with.

You can have the figure in an action stance with a switched-on lightsaber. Nice.

The other hands that come with this Darth Vader figure will allow you to set it in lots of different striking poses. As will the fact that all the main joints are hinged, so all the limbs bend and move.

The helmet is disconcertingly realistic - down to the neck piece and the features on the faceplate. It's not detacheable.
